April 2006 director and founder Roman Lizaola from Tijuana Baja California, Mexico's. dancer and choreographer decided to form his own dance company of mexican folklore in Las Vegas Nevada. The group started with only 8 dancers and has grown over the years. in 2013 formed a dance company of 80 or more dancers. the group is divided in different groups, Infantile, Juvenile, intermediate, advanced, seniors, Participating in all culture events of the city and organizer of multiple events of our own. Our most important event is called Mexifest. each year during the summer our principle objective is to show people our Mexican culture with our music, costumes and our folkloric dance. We are recognized as the best Folklorico company in Las Vegas Nevada. our name Izel, in dialect NAHUATL means Unique.
